The Supreme Court of India act as a protector of the fundamental rights of the Indian citizens because if fundamental rights of a person is denied then he/she can directly appraoch the Supreme Court. The Court in that case can issue orders and writs like habeas corpus, mandamus and prohibition for the enforcement of the rights of the citizens.
