acidic salt has ionisable H atom as is formed by partial replacement of ionisable H atoms of a polybasic acid by metal or ammonium ions it has nothing to do with strong acid n weak base (salt of strong acid n weak base hydrolyse in water to give acidic sol as Fe(Cl)3) NaHCO3 is acidic as H
basic salt has oinisable OH group as is formed by partial replacement of ionisable OH of a polyacidic base by by an acidic radical Pb(OH)Cl
