Expert Answer
We are not talking about our immediate ancestors. Sometime in the very early past, humans, bats, frogs, lizards, birds, cheetahs etc. had a common ancestor. An evidence for this is their forelimbs. They possess a similar basic fundamental plan of the forelimbs. However, their limbs have been modified suitably to suit their purposes according to the environment.
