ammonia is basic gas and when it reacts with sulphuric acid which is acidic in nature it produces Ammonium sulphate , but this reaction is not an example of neutralization reaction (it does not produces acid and base)?

Dear Student,
The definition of acid-bases that we have studied in 10th is the theory by Arheius, According to this theory, Compounds which releases H+ ion in aqueous solutioin are acids and compounds which releases OH- are known as bases.
According to this definition NH3 can not be considered as base so there is another concept that was given by Brosnsted-Lowry, it is called Bronsted-Lowry concept, Compounds which accepts H+ ions are known as bases. you will study about this concept in Class Xi in 'Ionic Eqilibrium' chapter. So, At this level it is not included in neutralisation.
