A study finds that children with light-colored eyes are likely to have parents with light-colored eyes. Could this tell if light-colored eye is a dominant or a recessive trait? Why/Why not?

Expert Answer:

If both the parents have light coloured eyes, then the condition is homozgous recessive and the same trait will be expressed in the child due to the presence of recessive genes.
