A force of 100 n acts on 25cm^2. Calculate force and pressure. Calculate  the pressure when force is now reduced to 25N.

Pressure = force /area
 
if 100 N force act on 25 cm2 area , then Pressure = 100 / ( 25 × 10-4 ) = 40000 Pa = 40 kPa
 
If force reduced to 25 N , then pressure = 25 / ( 25 × 10-4 ) = 10000 Pa = 10 kPa
