CBSE Class 9 Answered
A body starts to move from its state of rest under uniform acceleration and moves for 10 second with average velocity of 30 metre per second. Find the final velocity at the end of 10 seconds and also find the total distance travelled in 10 seconds

A body starts from rest, i.e., initial speed = 0 m/s.
under uniform accleration, if average speed after 10 seconds is 30 m/s, then final speed v is 60 m/s.
acceleration = (v-u)/t = 60/10 = 6 m/s2
distance S travelled in 10 seconds , S = ut +(1/2)at2 = (1/2)×6×100 = 300 m
