1M has more concentration than 1m , why ???

A molar solution contains 1 mole of solute in 1 litre while molal solution consists of 1 mol in 1000g solvent.
If density of water is 1,then one mole of solute is present in less than 1000ml (1000ml soltion = amount of solute + amount of Solvent)
Thus 1 molar soltion is more concentrated.Answered by | 3rd May, 2013, 07:44: PM
