Flux of electric field through a closed sirface area is ( Q / εo ) , where Q is enclosed charge and εo = 8.854 × 10-12 F/m
is permittivity of free space .
Surface area of cube = 6 × ( Area of each face ) = 6 a2 .
Where a is side length of cube .
Flux Φ of electric field through one face is
Φ = Q / ( 6 εo ) = ( 12 × 10-6 ) / ( 6 × 8.854 × 10-12 ) N C-1 m2 = 2.259 × 105 N C-1 m2
