Hi Chitransh,

Thermal expansion of a substance is the expansion when it is heated.

Cubical expansion is a type of thermal expansion.

When a substance is heated, it expands.

Now, this expansion can be in length (called linear expansion), area (called superficial expansion) and volume (called cubical expansion).
