To lift the load using effort P at middle of lever , counterclockwise moment of P with respect to
fulcrum should be greater than the clockwise moment of load .
Load W = m g = 20*9.8 = 196 \ N
Hence we get

Hence P = 2 W = 2 × 196 N = 392 N
