Done with JEE Main? Congratulations! You are one step closer to your dream IIT. Now, the next hurdle you should be concerned about is JEE Advanced. Here are some things about JEE Advanced 2019 that you should know: Every year, JEE Advanced is conducted by one of the seven zonal coordinating IITs. These 7 IITs include IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee. JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee aided by the remaining 6 IITs.
You may be wondering about whether JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted once or twice a year? It's true that from 2019 onwards, NTA will conduct the JEE Main exam twice a year: once in January and again in April. This is to ensure that more students seek admission to the IITs. However, JEE Advanced will be conducted only once, tentatively in May.
The application process is likely to start in the first week of May. As an aspiring IITian, you better be serious about your preparation for JEE Advanced 2019. Based on your rank, you will be provided admission to any Bachelor, Integrated Master or Dual Degree programme (entry at the 10+2 level) in the 23 IITs.
