Sweat is a watery fluid secreted by the sweat glands located in the skin. Sweat contains NaCl, urea in small amount and lactic acid.

Functions of sweat:

Sweat facilitates the cooling effect on the body surface.

It helps to remove some excretory substances from the body such as lactic acid, urea etc.
