Let the side of triangle be a . At vertex A and B , charge +q is placed.
At vertex C, charge -q is placed.

Force F1 on charge -q due to the charge +q at A =  -q2 / [ (4πεo) a2 ]

Force F2 on charge -q due to the charge +q at B =  -q2 / [ (4πεo) a2 ]

Resultant of the force FR = ( - 2 q2 cos30 ) / [ (4πεo) a2 ] = ( - √3 q2 ) / [ (4πεo) a2 ]

( forces F1 and F2 are resolved into two components, i.e., one component parallel to AB and other one perpendicular to AB .
Parallel components of each force cancel each other.
While perpendiclar components are getting added together to give resultant FR )
