Please explain why ammonia is more easily liquefiable than hcl? Thanks

Answer:

The liquifaction of a gas depends upon its critical temperature that is minimum temperature above which a gas can not be liquified even after applying very high pressure also.

Higher the critical temperature, more easily the gas can be liquified.

Ammonia has higher critical temperature than HCl.

Hence, ammonia is more easily liquefiable than HCl.
