As the number of terms is 8, the median will be average of 2x+10 and 2x-8
Median equals fraction numerator 2 straight x plus 10 plus 2 straight x minus 8 over denominator 2 end fraction rightwards double arrow 25 equals fraction numerator 4 straight x plus 2 over denominator 2 end fraction rightwards double arrow 2 straight x plus 1 equals 25 rightwards double arrow straight x equals 12
