Newtons Second Law Of Motion

A train starts from rest and moves with a constant acceleration 'a'. The guard of the train reaches the end of the platform with a speed 'v' and a passenger exactly in the middle of the train reaches the end of the platform with a speed 'u'. Determine hte speed with which a passenger seated mid-way between the guard and the passenger mentioned earlier, crossed the platform. Express it in the form of 'v'.

Water is flowing through horizontal pipe and sir we apply force on tap and open it and water comes out. Inside tap water is at rest and when water cakes from tap it gains velocity means momentum changes. So Newton second law is applicable or not. If not which law is applicable. Please explain.

Asked by Tanmmygarg6 6th September 2019 10:18 AM

Sir water flows through pipe when we open tap because there is pressure difference. pressure is force per unit atea.  Newton first law states that an object doesn't change it's position until an external force is applied. So how Newton first law is valid.
