Name and state the rule by which the direction of magnetic field in a current-carrying solenoid is determined.

An electric current passes through a solenoid, resulting in a magnetic field. When user wrap his/her right hand around the solenoid with fingers in the direction of the conventional current, the thumb points in the direction of the magnetic north pole.
