If it is 8 to 5 against a person who is 40 years old living till he is 70 and 4 to 3 against a person now 50 living till he is 80. Find the probability that these persons would be alive 30 years

The probability that the man will be alive in 30 years time = 5/13
The probability that the man will be dead in 30 years time = 8/13

The probability that the other man will be alive in 30 years time = 3/7
The probability that the other man will be dead in 30 years time = 4/7

the probability that both men are alive for 30 years = 
= 5/13 x 3/7
=15/91
