How do I find the range of different types of functions without using graphs also explain the same for domain

In order to find the range of any function, first we should find the domain of the function which helps us in finding range.
Lets see what exactly is Domain.
Domain: It is the set of values for which that particular function is defined.
So, in order to find Domain, we should know when the functions is not defined.
Ex:
In above example, when x=1 or -1, F(x) becomes undefined. So Domain of F(x) is R - {-1, 1}
Range: Range is the set of values we get when we substitute the values of domain in the given function. We need to find the maximum and minimum values to represent the range of function
