hey.. If potential gradient of a potentiometer P is greater than potentiometer Q which should be chosen for comparing emf of two cells?

Hi Yug,

Potential gradient of  a potentiometer means the potential difference per unit length of the wire of a potentiomater. Smaller the potential gradient, better its sensitivity.

Hence the potentiometer Q will be used to compare the emf of two cells.
