## Direction of Frictional force is horizontal ( right or left) , when we consider a horizontal surface , but the direction of normal reaction is vertical. But since frictional force, and normal reaction are vectors, and the equation is, f = coefficient of friction × normal reaction, shouldn't frictional force and normal reaction have same direction? But they are actually perpendicular to each other. How is this possible?
