Compare the Wavelengths of the incident solar radiation absorbed by the earth’s surface and the radiation re-radiated by the earth.

Figure above shows the spectrum of Radiation coming from sun.
The shaded area in red color shows the radiation received on earths surface.
It has peak in visible region ( 400 nm to 750 nm)  of electromagnetic spectrum. There are some dips seen in the spectrum
which are due to the absorption bands of water, and CO2 molecules present in atmosphere.
It can be noted that UV region of radiation is partly absorbed in the atmosphere due to ozone
 
Figure given below shows the radiation emitted from earth surface ( Shaded area in red color).
Radiation emitted by earth surface has peak( 10μm ) in infrared red region and also concentrated only in infrared region
