Classes of Vertebrates:
(i) Pisces: Exoskeleton of scales, endoskeleton of bone or cartilage and breathing through gills.
(ii) Amphibia: Gills in larva and lungs in most adults; and slimy skin for respiration.
(iii) Reptilia: Exoskeleton of scales and lays eggs outside water.
(iv)Aves: Exoskeleton of feathers and forelimbs are modified into wings.
(v) Mammalia: Exoskeleton of hair, have external ears and give birth to young ones.
