Differences between heart of warm-blooded and cold-blooded animals:

Heart of warm-blooded animals

Heart of cold-blooded animals

Four-chambered heart

Two-three-chambered heart

The arteries that carry warm blood away from the heart are positioned directly against the veins that carry cool blood to the heart.

They do not need insulation, it would only slow down heat transfer into their bodies.
