1) the work done in turning the dipole till its dipole moment points in the direction opposite to vector E.

Torque τ acting on a dipole is given by, τ= p×E .....................(1)
where p is dipole moment and E is electric Field intensity.
Workdone dw for small angular displacement dθ is given by, dw = τ dθ
If a dipole is initially at the field direction, then workdone W to turn the dipole
to the opposite direction is given by
