1,170,938,000 citizens of India wait with bated breadth for the annual budget that will unfold tomorrow.
  
Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will present the annual budget tomorrow against a backdrop of slowing growth and burgeoning fiscal deficit.
 


This budget will be India's 81st budget proposal in the history of independent India.

Individually, Mukherjee will present the Union Budget for the seventh time, the second-highest by any Finance Minister.

Economic growth slowed to 6.1 percent, its weakest annual pace in almost three years, in the three months to December, as high interest rates and rising input costs constrained investment and manufacturing.
 

 
The Railway budget that was announced yesterday came as a great disappointment for majority of the nation, but we hope that the Union Budget keeps up to the people's expectations.
