To write each fraction in decimal form, we have to move the decimal point to the left as many steps as the number of zeroes in the denominator.
(a)
In this case, the decimal point is after 5 i.e., 5.0=5.
Thus we move the decimal point one place to the left of 5 as there is one zero in the denominator.
Thus, = 0.5
(b)
Here we move the decimal point 4 places to the left of 5 as there are 4 zeroes in the denominator.
Thus, = 0.00152
