Will menstruation occur in case of pregnancy? Why?

No, menstruation will not occur in case of pregnancy.
This is because during pregnancy, the egg is fertilised and begins to divide. It then gets embedded in the uterus for further development, for which the thickened uterine lining is essential. Hence, this lining along with its blood vessels will not be shed off.
