CBSE Class 10 Answered
why the amount of release of oxygen gas increase when baking soda is put in it
Asked by Debdulal | 10 Mar, 2018, 11:45: AM
The process by which plants use light energy to make glucose is called photosynthesis. During photosynthesis carbon dioxide combines with water to form glucose and oxygen is released. When sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) is added to water, it increases the amount of carbon dioxide, and hence increases the amount of oxygen.
