CBSE Class 10 Answered
why should a fuel have low rate of evaporation?

Asked by acshanadhana15 | 08 Sep, 2020, 09:31: AM
When the fuel is burnt it must burn with a steady rate and not at too fast or slow rate because the heat produced will not serve the purpose for which it is meant.
Also, if the rate of evaporation of fuel is high then too it will not serve the purpose for which it is burnt like cooking etc. and will just evaporate faster and change into some unutiized formof energy.
Thus, for an ideal or good fuel it is necessary that it must have balanced rate of evaporation.
