Expert Answer
The North Pole of a magnet is not stronger than the South Pole. Both the poles have equal strength.
This strength is given as the pole strength (m) of a pole of magnet.
Earth is a giant magnet with its South Pole aligned towards the geographic North and North Pole aligned towards the geographic South.
Hence, when a magnet is suspended its North Pole gets attracted towards the South (or geographic North)
and its South Pole gets attracted towards the North (or geographic South).
