While finding the formal charge, please explain me how to number the different molecules. For example O3 and how to find the formal charge in this case

A. The atom in the middle is the central atom, holding the other atoms around it. so obviously the No 1 atom.
B. Other atoms are then accordingly numbered.
C. Formal charge = V(Total valencw e) - 1/2 S(shared e) - L(left off unshared e).
For O 1 : 6 - 1/2 (6) - 2 = 1.
For O 2 : 6 - 1/2 (4) - 4 = 0.
For O 3 : 6 - 1/2 (2) - 6 = - 1
