WHILE APPLYING KIRCHOFFS LAWS ,HOW CAN WE DISTRIBUTE THE CURRENTS TO DIFFERENT BRANCHES IN THE CIRCUIT FROM THE POSITIVE TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY.ARE THERE ANY ASSUMPTIONS THAT WE MAKE HERE?

Expert Answer:

Kirchoff’s Current Law is based upon our assumption that chargescannot accumulate at a node. Kirchoff’s Current Law (commonly abbreviated in these chapters as KCL) states: The algebraic sum of all currents entering (or leaving) a node is zero. The sum of the currents entering any node equals the sum of the currents leaving the node.
