Kirchoffs Current Law is based upon our assumption that chargescannot accumulate at a node. Kirchoffs Current Law (commonly abbreviated in these chapters as KCL) states: The algebraic sum of all currents entering (or leaving) a node is zero.The sum of the currents entering any node equals the sum of the currents leaving the node.
