What will be force on 6C due to 8C if 6C is at point (1,2,3) and 8C is at (2,-4,-6).   And if we cahnge the 6C to -6C , then what will be answer

If the location of point where 6C is placed is (1,2,3) and the location of point where 8C is placed is (2,-4,6) ,
 
then distance d between these points is given by, (assuming the given coordinates are in metre )
 
d = [ (1-2)2 + (2+4)2 +(3-6)2 ]1/2 = [ 12 + 62 + 32 ]1/2 = [46]1/2 m
 
Hence force on charge 6C = (6×8) / [ (4πεo) 46 ] = ( 48 /46 ) × 9 × 109 N/C = 9.391 × 109 N/C
 
If 6C is changed to -6C, then force will be -9.391 × 109 N/C
