What is the difference between resistance and resistivity?

Resistivity ρ is the property of material of conductor.
 
Resistance R of a conductor depends upon resistivity ρ, length L of conductor and cross section area A as given below
 
R = ( ρ × L ) / A  ...............(1)
 
From above eqn.(1), we can define resistivity is resistance of conductor of unit length and unit area of cross section
