What is cryopreservation? Write the importance of cryopreservation in conservation of biodiversity.

Cryopreservation is a technique of preserving sperms, eggs, animal cells, tissues and embryos at very low temperature of around -196 degree centigrade in liquid nitrogen.

By cryopreservation, the reproductive parts of rare species can be preserved.
