Electric charge is the physical property of matter that causes it to experience a force when placed in an electromagnetic field. It is the fundamental quantity associated with the particle. Charges are of two types positive and negative.It is measured in Coloumbs. The smalles possible charge on a particle is 1.6 cross times 10 to the power of negative 19 end exponent C. The charge is quantized in nature which means it is always available in integer values i.e 1,2 , 43etc
