What happen when monochromatic light is replaced by white light?how does S2P-S1P =LAMBDA /2 According to ncert example?

- The equation S2P –S1P = λb/2, where λb (≈ 4000 Å) represents the wavelength for the blue colour, in this case the light of blue color interferes destructively.
- Hence the color of destructive interference i.e blue in this case will substract from the white light and the fringe will majorly appear red.
