What gauge wire should I use?                        Nichrome or kanthal?                                      ?????????????????????whose resistance vary to temperatura and how much?

Nichrome has a melting point of 2462 degree F whilw kanthal has a melting point of about 2732 degree F. Nichrome 80 has a lower resistance per unit length as compared to Kanthal, which means it will heat up faster.Kanthal is more sturdy and can take more heat as compared to Nichrome because Nichrome heats up faster and looses heat faster.
