what change is observed in boiling point of solvent when amount of solute is doubled?

Boiling point of solution will change on doubling the mass of solvent . Elevation in Boiling point is proportional to concentration of solute.On doubling the mass of solvent the concentration of solute becomes half . So elevation in boiling point decreases. Hence,the boiling point of initial solution will decrease.
