CBSE Class 10 Answered
What are the values of the angle of incidence, and the angle of reflection for normal incidence on the plane mirror surface?

Angle of incidence is the angle between incident light ray and the normal drawn at the point of incidence.
Angle of reflection is the angle between reflected light ray and the normal drawn at the point of incidence.
If the light ray enters perpendicular to the plane mirror surface , then normal at the point of incidence and direction of light ray coincide .
Hence angle of incidence equals zero and angle of reflection is also zero
