WHAT ARE THE FACTORS ON WHICH PRESSURE OF LIQUIDS DEPENDS?

Assuming that the query is about the pressure of liquids on a body which is immersed (dipped) inside that liquid,
the pressure exerted by the liquid depends on that body depends on:
  1. The depth of body: The depth of the body at which the pressure of the liquid is acting on the body. Deeper the body, higher would be the extent of the pressure of liquid acting on the body.
  2. The density of liquid: The pressure of liquid acting on any particular body hugely depends upon the density of the liquid (the physical quantity depending on the mass-volume ratio). Higher the density, higher would be the pressure of liquid acting on the body in contact with that liquid.

We say that pressure is defined as the amount of force exerted on an unit area and if the area is decreased, pressure increases For example an iron nail would be applying more pressure than any other thing let's say 100 N per m square but the question is an iron nail doesn't cover an area of m square so why do we say 100 N per m square
