Gas pressure inside an inflated balloon is always greater than the atmospheric pressure outside. Pressure is the force acting per unit area of a surface. When the air is filled inside the balloon the pressure inside the balloon increases and the balloon becomes spherical and exerts equal pressure in all directions in order to balance the atmospheric pressure.
