There are two types of nutrition-
1)Autotrophic nutrition- Organisms which synthesis their own food and are not dependent on anyone are termed to have an autotrophic mode of nutrition.These organisms are called as autotrophs. E.g., plants
2)Heterotrophic nutrition- Organisms which can not synthesis their food and are dependent on autotrophs for food are termed to have heterotrophic nutrition.These organisms are called as heterotrophs.E.g.,animals, humans.
