two identical cups are filled with the same amount of water having the same weight. if in one of the cups some ice cubes are added. after ithe cubes are added will the weight of water still remain the same

Expert Answer:
Two cups are filled with water to the same level.
In one cup, few ice cubes are added. Now, according to Archimedes' principle, these cubes will displace weight of water equal to their own weight.
Hence, the weight of the water still remains the same in both the cups even after addition of ice cubes.
