cosA = (2 - 1)sinA

Square on both sides,

cos2A = (2 - 1)2sin2A

1 - sin2A = (2 - 1)2sin2A

1 = ((2 - 1)2 + 1)sin2A

sin2A = 1/(4-22) = (4+22)/8 = (2+2)/4

cos2A = 1 - (2+2)/4 = (2-2)/4

Hence,

sinA-cosA = ((2+2)/4) - ((2-2)/4)
