On a warm and lazy Saturday, Rishi is watching a county maintenance crew mow the park across the street. He notices the mower takes 16 sec to pass through 60c of rotation from one end of the park to the other. If the corner of the park is 40 meter directly across the street from his house,  (i) How wide is the park?  (ii) How fast (in kmph) does the mower travel as it cuts the grass?

According to the question, distance between the house and street (where the park ends) is 40 m.
We have the followong figure,
tan space 60 to the power of straight o equals AB over AC rightwards double arrow square root of 3 equals 40 over AC rightwards double arrow AC equals fraction numerator 40 over denominator square root of 3 end fraction straight m
So the park is 40/sqrt{3} m wide.
