Three cells are connected in parallel with their like poles connected together with wires of negligible resistance.
If emfs of cell are 2,1 and 4 volts respectively and internal resistances are 4,3,2 ohm respectively, find current through each cell.
We should do this by Combination of cells in parallel or using Kirchoff's rules?

Dear student
use Kirchoffs rules to the lowest loop, & then the outer most loop, we get the followinge equations:
4-2I1-3I2-1=0
-(I1-I2)4-2+1+3I2 =0
Using teh above equations & solving for I1 and I2 we get
I2= 7/13 A
I1= 9/13 A
