The value of k for which the system of equations kx-y=2 and 6x-2y=3 has a unique solution is what ?
Asked by ashleshathakur124 | 20 Oct, 2019, 05:54: PM Expert Answer
kx - y = 2 and 6x - 2y = 3
a1 = k, b1 = -1, a2 = 6,b2 = -2, c1 = 2 and c2 = 3

The linear equations has unique solution if
a1/a2 ≠ b1 /b2
k/6 ≠ -1/-2
k ≠ 3
